The Last Time I Said I Love You

I feel very down, very sad and alone today. I do not normally feel this way that is I wondered why? Then I realized its been a while since I said "I love you" to someone. Well of course I say I love you to my mom almost everyday, but the I love you that I mean is in a different sense. I have not had a special person in my life for almost two years now. I have moved on, definitely from the last relationship I had, so I cannot say that it is the reason why I am still single. There are other factors to consider I think. There were a few people whom I thought had the potential, to whom I could have said "I Love you" to but it just doesn't seem to work out.

I never thought it could make someone feel this empty. But still I pray and I know that God has someone for me, all I have to do is be patient about it and wait. It seems like God does really know me, how dare me to question Him. He knows how much impatient of a person I am, He is teaching me how to be one.

Well I have to perk myself up. Tomorrow I am leaving, the following day I will be spending quality and fun time with friends. I do not want to drag them with me and infect them with this virus that I have. But I am sure things will be different by that time.

Pacquiao VS. Clottey

Tomorrow is another big day not just for avid boxing fans but for every Filipino all over the world. It will be another important day for all of us who still believes in the talent and capabilities of Filipino athletes. Let us all come together tomorrow like we always do everytime Manny Pacquiao goes on top of the ring and fight his heart out just to make all his countrymen proud. Let us all cheer and pray for his success that he will continue to reign supreme and retain his title.

I am a little bit worried, I always do in every Pacquiao fight. I think we cannot help but get nervous, be afraid and worry about the "what ifs" when it comes to the result of the fight. I am watching the fight of Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey right now and there is no doubt that Manny can and will defeat Clottey tomorrow. If he was able to send Cotto to the canvass he will do the same to Clottey. Cotto beat the hell out of Clottey during their fight and Pacquiao beat up Cotto, it all makes sense right. I am not saying this because I am Filipino but I am saying this because I know how talented and how ready Pacquaio is for this fight.

TOMORROW WE WILL BE PROUD ONCE AGAIN THAT WE ARE FILIPINOS!!!!

My Canine Concern

Just this morning I received a very timely newsletter from Dr. Jon of Petplace.com, the newsletter was just perfect. It was about some dog owners' worry about leaving their pets at home alone, which is exactly my problem. So for all those who are having the same dilemma as me let me share with you Dr. Jon's advice regarding this matter.

Do you feel bad when you have to leave your dog home alone? Many people do. It's only natural. But life goes on and we must go along with it.

It's a busy world. And like most of us, you've got places to go, things to do and people to see. Whether you're off to work, school or shopping, or out for a nice dinner and a movie, chances are you spend a lot of time away from home. And much of the time, your dog cannot come along.

Dogs have very little to occupy their time while you're gone. (We're their entertainment.) Some dogs seem content to nap away their day while you're away. Other dogs have a much harder time coping with the situation when they're home all alone. These dogs can suffer from boredom, stress or separation anxiety.

So how do you know if your dog is unhappy about being left alone?

Some dogs make it quite obvious by leaving a trail of destruction behind. You could return home to find your furniture or personal belongings chewed up, the garbage ransacked, paper or pillows may be chewed to shreds, or you may find that your dog has vomited, urinated or defecated in the house. Some dogs eat everything in sight when you're away, and others become almost anorexic. Some dogs groom themselves incessantly to calm their nerves. Others vocalize their dissatisfaction by howling, whining and barking while you're away. (And if you have neighbors nearby, you're sure to hear about it!)

If your dog is bored, anxious, depressed or destructive while you're away, "environmental enrichment" can help. When you give your dog plenty of fun things to do and see, his unhappy time alone can be transformed into a very satisfying day. Here are some suggestions:

• Hire a dog walker
• Invest in doggy day care
• Leave plenty of fun toys for your dog (like puzzle toys that you fill with treats)
• Tire him out with some active play before you go
• Try something that will really hold his interest, like the
Dog Sitter DVD

If you haven't seen the Dog Sitter DVD yet, you really must check it out. It is amazing! This DVD was made especially for dogs, to entertain them for hours on end while you're away. It features lots of animals (birds, cats, squirrels, raccoons and more) outdoors in their natural environment. Your dog will think he's outside with his new friends joining in the fun.

Dogs just love this DVD. It keeps them actively entertained for hours on end. The stereo soundtrack even has some sounds that only your dog can hear. And once you find out which tracks are your dog's favorites, you can even personalize his viewing adventure using the continuous loop scene selection feature.

When your dog is stuck inside all alone, the Dog Sitter DVD can bring the outside world in. Lots of people swear by it, and I can certainly see why. My staff and I tried it on our own dogs and they were GLUED to the TV set!

Same Sex Marriage Legalized in Washington DC.

The United States of America's capital has finally joined five other places in the nation to allow and legalize same sex marriages. A lesbian couple were the first one to tie the know in DC. The first five places in the US that allows such union includes Iowa, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. In the United States same sex marriage is only recognized in certain state but there are countries that legally recognize gay marriages. These countries includes Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Canada, South Africa, Spain and Sweden. Among these countries it was the Netherlands that first legalized and performed same sex marriage on April 01, 2001 at the Amsterdam City hall.

But despite certain countries' move in recognizing and legalizing these gay rights there are still those who refused and still remained firm in not allowing same sex unions as well as giving them the same privileges like the heterosexual couples.

Here in the Philippines it is said that the first same sex marriage was done by the New People's Army in 2005, although it was not a legal ceremony. It is still being debated if the government will allow gay marriage to be legal. There are groups of people who are heavily opposing such move specifically the Catholic Church. No bold move among big political groups or individual politician has had the guts to push and fight for gay rights in the country.

Reunited!

If me and my brother is now far from each other, in short separated, it is a different case for my dog Feet-feet. She has been recently reunited with her sister. Her sister, Stitch, was brought to our house this afternoon and will be staying here until Wednesday. Fitch will be o a short vacation, she will spend some quality time with her sister. We were so happy to see them together especially when we saw that they were getting along very well. I think the photo above shows exactly just that.
